Carman Industries, Inc. maintains a complete Service Department. We will provide Field Service Representative(s) to inspect Carman equipment, recommend maintenance and operational procedures and oversee required repairs, if necessary. The rates and charges for these services are listed herein.
The Field Service Representative(s) will be utilized in an advisory capacity, or if required, perform the mechanical work. Carman Industries will not be liable for damages to equipment, loss of time or product, production rates or additional workmen, if required. The Buyer will be directly responsible for planning and supervising any workmen assigned to assist our Field Representative. The Field Service Representative(s) will not be responsible for the progress or cost of the work.
Service on auxiliary equipment, supplied but not manufactured by Carman Industries, is offered at the standard rates listed below.
UNITED STATES, PORTAL TO PORTAL RATES
- Monday through Friday 8 hrs. per day/per man - $ 775.00
- Saturdays or Part of 8 hrs. per day/per man - $1,162.00
- Sundays or Holidays or part of 8 hrs. per day/per man - $1,550.00
- Work in Excess of 8 hours per day will be charged hourly at the following rates:
- Monday through Friday - $ 145.00
- Saturdays - $ 170.00
- Sundays or Holidays - $ 194.00
- Weekends or Holidays, layover time - $ 775.00
SERVICE OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES, PORTAL TO PORTAL RATES
- Monday through Friday 8 hrs. per day/per man - $ 938.00
- Saturdays or Part of 8 hrs. per day/per man - $1,407.00
- Sundays or Holidays or part of 8 hrs. per day/per man - $1,876.00
- Work in Excess of 8 hours per day will be charged hourly at the following rates:
- Monday through Friday - $ 176.00
- Saturdays - $ 205.00
- Sundays or Holidays - $ 234.00
- Weekends or Holidays, layover time - $ 938.00
LIVING AND TRAVEL EXPENSES
- Living expenses will be charged on an actual cost basis.
- Living and airline travel expenses (business class for International travel) to and from Jeffersonville, Indiana to job site and local traveling expenses while on job site will be billed at actual costs (this includes various trip preparation costs required for foreign travel).
- Travel by company vehicle, if required, will be charged at .60 cents per mile.
- Visas, work permits, medical services, etc... at cost.
NOTIFICATION
Carman Industries requests that our customers provide 21 working days notice (30 days for all foreign installations) prior to the date service is required. Insurance requirements dictate a purchase order must accompany all requests for service.
